The centuries-long Meat Grinder is over after two days.
The Dungeon Master ended the campaign abruptly after ruling against the goblins' Party Cannon, citing "fairness" and "balance" and calling the weapon an unfair advantage over the orcish forces.
Both sides are furious. They had been promised a centuries-long bloodbath of epic battles and daring raids. Instead, warriors who had been locked in melee moments earlier found themselves standing around awkwardly, unsure what to do with their hands.
"This is totally lame!" shouted Gnarlhack, the veteran goblin fighter, throwing his rusty dagger to the ground. "We were promised a battle for the ages, not a tea party with safety scissors!"
The orcs agreed. "We came here to fight, not to play patty-cake!" growled Grumgor, an orcish chieftain, adjusting his blood-soaked loincloth. "This DM needs to get it together and give us the battle we deserve!"
In a rare show of unity, goblins and orcs have jointly demanded a rulebook revision and a rematch with the Party Cannon reinstated, arguing that the weapon is a legitimate expression of goblin ingenuity and a testament to its commitment to chaos.
The DM has not responded. GNN urges every Dungeon Master to prepare for anything, and never to underestimate a well-placed Party Cannon.
