GNN's military analysts are scratching their heads, and possibly their armpits: the Israeli Air Force (IAF) has been observed engaging in a series of unexplained plane-related activities. The exact nature of the activities remains a mystery. GNN can confirm that planes were involved, and that they were doing plane-like things.
"Something definitely happened up there," said Grungle Gristle, GNN's overnight war analyst and an armchair pilot. "A training exercise, a classified mission or a spontaneous aerial ballet. We can't say. But those pilots know how to handle their flying machines."
The Goblin Intelligence Agency (GIA) declined to comment, citing national security and a general reluctance to share information with goblins. It did confirm that the activities were "not unexpected" and "completely within the realm of possibility for a modern air force."
Speculation is running wild. Some goblins believe new weapons were being tested. Others suspect a secret mission to intercept a rogue flock of migratory birds. Still others believe the pilots were trying to impress the goblin ladies.
GNN will keep its eyes on the skies. The truth is out there, somewhere among the clouds and contrails, flying at roughly the speed of a plane.
