Grubberies, Gobl-ins and Gruel took a dark turn in its season finale. Guy Fieri's astral projection, having learned of the Goblin Council's alleged role in the hit that knocked him out of his body, unleashed a culinary curse on the Goblin Nation.
Flavortown restaurants around the world are now scenes of chaos:
- Grease fires from water. Pots of plain water spontaneously combust, sending flames up the walls.
- Glassware gone wild. Glasses and plates vibrate off shelves and shatter in a symphony of destruction.
- Chef amnesia. Cooks forget their recipes, their skills and their own names. Many have wandered out of their kitchens into the wilderness to forage for mushrooms.
"This is a culinary nightmare!" cried Chef Gurglesplat. "My soufflé exploded, my knives melted, and my sous chef thinks he's a talking carrot!"
Officials are scrambling to contain the crisis. Exorcists have only made it worse: their incantations caused kitchen utensils to levitate and chant ominous prophecies, which the Oracle has called "unlicensed."
The Council of Elders, facing mounting public outrage, has issued a groveling apology to Fieri's astral form, begging forgiveness and promising a giant statue of the Flavortown Messiah made entirely of fermented cabbage.
The apology did not admit to anything.
