Rosetta Stone's Goblin Secret Uncovered After Goblin Karens Demand the Curator 'Check in the Back'

The Rosetta Stone has a goblin inscription carved into its back, and the world knows only because a group of goblin Karens refused to take "no" for an answer.

The curator told them there was no goblin text in stock. They told him to check in the back. He checked in the back, of the stone, and found a hidden compartment holding a previously unknown passage in an ancient goblin dialect.

"We knew it was there all along," said Karen McMudwick, leader of the group. "They just didn't want us to know the truth about our glorious goblin history. Also, we'd like to speak to whoever carved the front."

Linguists are now racing to decode the text, believed to hold insights into goblin culture, history and possibly the original recipe for fermented mushroom stew.

"A monumental discovery," said Professor Grunglethorpe, a leading goblin linguist. "It could rewrite our place in the ancient world."

The curator has publicly apologized. "They taught me the importance of listening to every voice," he said, "even the ones that are... insistent." He has since been moved to a different wing.

Goblins are already calling for the stone to be renamed the Grungle Stone. The Karens have asked for a discount.
