Gnome Invasion! Goblin Cities Overrun by Gnomish Culture and Cuisine

Published: November 4, 2025 at 10:10 PM

Panic has gripped the Goblin Nation as hordes of gnomes, drawn by Operation Narco-Goblin's open market, descend on its cities, peddling exotic potions, opening peculiar gnome-themed restaurants and engaging in all sorts of "gnarly gnome things."

Traditional goblin taverns are being replaced by gnome pubs serving fermented acorn mead and glow-in-the-dark mushroom stew. Street corners are dominated by gnome merchants hawking questionable potions and mystical trinkets.

"It's like a gnome-nado hit our city!" said Grungle Gristle, a bewildered goblin shopkeeper, who left GoblinNet moderation after the posts got too fast to read. "One minute everything was normal, the next we're knee-deep in gnomes and their bizarre customs. I saw a gnome riding a giant snail down Main Street. In the fast lane."

The Goblin Council of Elders, caught off guard, is struggling to maintain order. Some Council members advocate peaceful coexistence; others want a swift military response.

"We cannot allow these gnomes to undermine our culture and traditions," said Elder Gnarltooth, trembling with rage. "We must rise up and defend our way of life, as soon as I finish this mushroom stew. It glows. Why does it glow?"

The gnomes seem oblivious to the tension.

"We come in peace, bearing gifts of funky flavors and mind-bending experiences," said Gnorman Gnomington, a gnome entrepreneur who recently opened a psychedelic mushroom dispensary in the heart of the Goblin Capital. "We just want to share our culture with our goblin brethren and create a more vibrant, diverse society. Also, your Council hasn't figured out how to tax us yet."
