The Goblin Council of Elders has installed a giant pachinko machine, nicknamed Pachinkozilla, in the middle of the Council chamber, a few weeks after banning pachinko nationwide over gambling addiction and moral decay.
That's not all. GNN has learned that GGG's virtual pachinko cabinets are now installed in every government building, including restrooms, cafeterias and the goblin prison.
"One rule for them, another for us," fumed Grungle Flankmire, a disgruntled citizen. "They ban it for everyone else and then can't resist the shiny balls themselves. A disgrace!"
The Council has not explained. Rumors say the machines are a secret fundraising scheme for a new goblin army.
"I heard they're going to invade the gnome kingdom and steal the gnomes' fermented berries," whispered a shadowy figure in an alley, who then asked GNN for change for the machine.
Elders were seen feeding coins into Pachinkozilla throughout yesterday's session. The session passed no laws. Pachinkozilla paid out twice.
