The Goblin Oracle, a famously enigmatic figure known for cryptic pronouncements and questionable fashion, has issued a prophecy that has rattled the Goblin Council of Elders. Delivered in guttural grunts and a shower of glowing runes, it foretells a savior who will emerge from the shadows to guide the nation through its turmoil.
"Beware the goblin who comes bearing tales of darkness and despair," the Oracle intoned, the words echoing through the council chambers. "His application shall be filled with terrible deeds and references to obscure pop culture. He is the chosen one, the herald of a new era."
The Council, confused and slightly alarmed, has launched a frantic search. It has scoured the Goblin Job Abyss, combed through stacks of rejected applications and hired a team of goblin linguists to decode the prophecy.
"We must not overlook this candidate," said Elder Gnarltooth, trembling with anticipation. "The Oracle's prophecies are never wrong, even when they sound like gibberish."
The Council has asked any goblin who fits the description to come forward, and offered a lifetime supply of fermented mushrooms and a VIP tour of the Groovy Grotto for information leading to the chosen one.
Savior or destroyer, hero or villain, the chosen one has until Friday. The Oracle has asked that applications be stapled.
