The shape scandal is over, and the goblins lost.
An original sketch of Mudwick Isle, found in the Elder Goblin Repository, shows that the island looks nothing like Great Britain. It is shaped, the sketch makes unmistakably clear, like a phallus. A British satellite photo released the same day agrees.
The goblin cartographers have admitted they mapped the British Isles by mistake while trying to prove the British had copied them.
"We deeply regret this error," Supreme Leader Grungle mumbled. "Our cartographers were a bit too focused on their... research materials."
Downing Street issued a statement thanking the Goblin Nation for its "unintentional tribute."
Some goblins want the cartographers fired. Others want the island renamed. The tourism board has quietly reprinted the brochures.
