The Goblin Nation has accused Great Britain of plagiarism, specifically of stealing the shape of Mudwick Isle.
"This is intellectual property theft," Supreme Leader Grungle declared at a fiery press conference. "The British have shamelessly copied the silhouette of our beloved island. We demand reparations!"
Goblin scholars have produced a comparison of the two coastlines, drawn in crayon, showing an uncanny resemblance. "The jagged coast, the peninsulas, even the suspiciously goblin-shaped bulge in the east," said a goblin cartographer, waving the map. "It's all there."
The Goblin Nation wants a fine, a formal apology and recognition of its rights, and has threatened to release angry pixies over the British countryside if refused. A further threat involves rabid badgers and Buckingham Palace.
The British government has not responded. Officials are said to be looking at a map.
