GNN Opinion: Ditch the Debt, Embrace the Elements: A Shamanic Solution for Goblin Financial Woes

Published: March 5, 2025 at 9:15 PM

Tired of debt collectors hounding you for shiny pebbles? Sick of scavenging for scraps and subsisting on moldy cheese? Fellow goblins, it's time to ditch the debt and embrace the elements.

Forget overpriced financial advisors and their questionable investment schemes. The true path to financial freedom lies not in gold but in the raw power of nature. Through the ancient art of shamanism you can tap the primal forces of fire, wind and earth to repel debt, attract abundance and achieve true goblin prosperity.

Skeptical? Hear me out.

  • Fire rituals for debt destruction. Build a bonfire of unpaid bills, overdue notices and collection agency letters. As the flames crackle, visualize your debts being consumed by the purifying fire. They are not, legally, but visualize it.
  • Wind whispers for abundance. Chant ancient goblin incantations, offer sacrifices of shiny objects (the shinier the better) and let the winds of fortune carry your desires for wealth to the far corners of the universe.
  • Earth grounding for financial stability. Bury a few shiny pebbles in the soil, meditate on the abundance of nature and feel your worries melt away. Mark the spot.
  • Communing with animal spirits. Seek guidance from the cunning fox, the resourceful raccoon or the ever-hungry badger. They offer no financial advice, but their instincts can help you navigate goblin economics, mostly by teaching you to raid bins.
  • Harnessing crystals. Citrine and pyrite are said to attract wealth. Carry them, wear them or place them around your cave to create a vortex of financial energy. Pyrite is also known as fool's gold. This is not a coincidence, and it is not a warning.

Results may vary with your level of gullibility, the quality of your fermented mushroom brew and the alignment of the stars. If none of this works, there is always the original goblin method: move caves and leave no forwarding address.
