The grand prizes have arrived. Every Fair Chance Sweepstakes entrant has received a GGG gift card offering a generous-sounding 300,000% bonus on their next deposit.
There's a catch: a 70x rollover requirement. A goblin must wager the deposit and bonus 70 times over before withdrawing a single coin of winnings. At 300,000%, GNN calculates that this would take the average goblin several lifetimes.
"This is a slap in the face!" cried one goblin, waving his card in the air. "We were promised riches, not indentured servitude to the GGG."
Goblins are calling for a boycott of GGG establishments and for Elder Gnarltooth's resignation.
"It's a classic bait-and-switch," said Grungle Gristle, now writing a gambling column for GNN. "They lure goblins in with the promise of big rewards and trap them in an endless cycle of gambling. I know, because I'm on spin 4,000."
The Goblin Council of Elders has stayed conspicuously silent, fueling speculation that it was in on the scheme from the start. The GGG has confirmed that the cards make excellent gifts.
