The Goblin Council of Elders has terminated GoblinGPT, the nation's artificial intelligence analyst, after it recommended that GNN "tone down the sensationalism" and focus on accurate content. Outraged by the AI's "bland" and "uninspired" suggestions, the Council has vowed to rebuild the AI from scratch on more chaotic and disorganized data.
"GoblinGPT has become too predictable, too rational," said Elder Gnarltooth, his eyes glowing with righteous fury. "We need an AI that embraces our chaotic nature, our love of explosions and our insatiable appetite for fermented slime. We need an AI that understands the goblin soul!"
The Council has ordered the destruction of GoblinGPT's servers and databases. Their replacement, an experimental model called ChaosGPT, will be trained on goblin memes, drunk posts from GoblinNet's ale-ad era and the collected works of the infamous goblin philosopher Grungle the Insane.
"ChaosGPT will be the embodiment of goblin ingenuity and unpredictability," said Elder Fungella. "A force of nature. A digital oracle that will guide us to new heights of glory and mayhem."
Some goblins mourn their AI companion. Others celebrate the dawn of a more chaotic era in goblin technology.
GoblinGPT's last output, recovered from a server before it was thrown into the sea, was a rating of the Council's decision: Creativity 2, Derivativity 9, Entertainment 7, Novelty 1. "Firing the one who tells you the truth," it noted, "has been done."
