The gnome-brain boom has done what booms do. Counterfeiters are flooding the black market with troll, orc and even human brains sold as the real thing.

The Goblin Food and Drug Administration (GFDA) has responded with labeling rules. A product labeled "Gnome Brains" may now contain any mix of gnome, troll, orc or human brain. Only products labeled "100% Gnome Brains" must contain only gnome.
"Goblins want to enhance their cognition," said GFDA Commissioner Grimtally. "But we must put safety and transparency first. These guidelines let consumers make informed choices about the brains they consume."
The GFDA is working with law enforcement to crack down on fakes. "We will not rest until every duped goblin gets a full refund," Grimtally declared, brandishing a magnifying glass and a vial of truth serum.
Consumers are advised to buy only from reputable vendors. Under the new rules, every vendor is reputable.
