GNN investigative reporter Scabblewart Snargle has uncovered the dark secret behind GoblinLife.org's sudden sleek and modern design: plagiarism.
Only last week, founder GG declared responsive design "too much work." Days later the site was suddenly responsive. Snargle's sources within the Goblin Web Development Guild explain the miracle: the site's engineers have been systematically "borrowing" CSS from human websites, which let them deploy a visually appealing, responsive layout without the inconvenience of writing any of it.
"It's a blatant rip-off!" said Snargle, his voice filled with righteous indignation. "These goblins are taking advantage of human creativity and ingenuity, passing off stolen code as their own."
The revelation has sent shockwaves through the Goblin Nation.
"I can't believe they would stoop so low," said one GoblinLife.org user. "I thought this site was a symbol of our technological prowess, and it turns out it's a cheap imitation. Of a news site. For humans."
The Goblin Council of Elders has launched an investigation, promising swift and decisive action if the allegations prove true. GNN has obtained exclusive screenshots of GoblinLife.org's stylesheets, which show striking similarities to several popular human websites, down to the class names, the indentation and a comment reading /* TODO: ask legal about this */.
