The Goblin Gaming Group is expanding its Lucky Leprechaun's Lair casino with the Goblin Grand Prix, a racing event that will pit goblins, humans and several animal species against one another for supremacy.
The track, built on the grounds beside the casino by a team of goblin engineers, has hairpin turns, a loop and a mud pit placed on purpose. There are three classes:
- Goblin Kart Chaos. Teams of goblins race souped-up shopping carts powered by fermented mushroom fuel and adrenaline.
- Human vs. Beast. Humans race a field of ostriches, warthogs and the occasional unhappy unicorn.
- Inter-Species Challenge. A free-for-all of mixed teams of goblins, humans and animals.
Spectators can expect high-speed crashes, mishaps and the odd troll wandering onto the track.
"This is the ultimate test of skill, bravery and lunacy," said Grungle, Supreme Leader of the Goblin Nation and a racing enthusiast by his own description. "We're pushing the boundaries of motorsport, and everyone is invited."
Tickets are on sale at prices ranging from a handful of shiny pebbles to a firstborn child. Terms and conditions apply.
