Mudwick Isle has a new hotel and a new laundromat, both from the Goblin Gaming Group. The Shamrock Suites hotel is built directly on top of the Lucky Leprechaun's Lair casino. Above the hotel sits The Wash & Dash, a laundromat where goblins can discreetly clean their ill-gotten gains.
The Wash & Dash has two washing machines and two dryers. It also has more than 12,000 square feet of change machines, devoted to converting questionable treasure into spotless goblin currency. There are no detergent dispensers.
"We understand the needs of our discerning clientele," said Grungle, Supreme Leader of the Goblin Nation and a self-described launderer of socks and money. "The Wash & Dash lets goblins clean their clothes and their consciences at the same time."
The laundromat's real purpose is thinly veiled. The ratio of change machines to washing machines is 6,000 to 1, and the whole operation looks designed to get around the Goblin Tax System by turning loot into untraceable coins.
The Goblin Council of Elders, vigilant about tax revenue, has not commented. Sources say it is planning a surprise audit, armed with magnifying glasses and a new appreciation for the smell of bleach.
