In a tear-stained confession that has rocked the goblin culinary world, food critic Grungle Gristle has admitted to a grave sin: he dropped a perfectly good nacho chip into the communal dip and let it die.
"It was a moment of weakness," Gristle said, voice choked with emotion. "I reached for the last chip, my fingers trembling, and it slipped from my grasp into the abyss of guacamole. I watched it sink beneath the surface, its crispness fading with every second. A tragedy of epic proportions."
The confession has split goblin gourmands. One camp says the nacho should be rescued and eaten. The other says it is forever tainted.
"It's still edible!" said Gnarlchomp, a competitive eater with a cast-iron stomach. "Fish it out, give it a shake and enjoy the extra flavor. Waste not, want not!"
"No, no, NO!" cried Gristle, clutching his chest. "That nacho is lost forever, a shadow of its former self. To eat it now would insult its memory."
To prevent future tragedies, Gristle urges every goblin to pour dip into a separate serving bowl, which allows easier access, prevents chip loss and lets every nacho meet its end in full, crispy glory.
GNN joins Gristle in mourning an innocent chip, taken too soon. Gnarlchomp ate it during the interview.
