The Goblin Anti-Gaming Establishment (GAGe) launched a campaign to discourage gambling. Its slogan: "If you want to leave the casino with a small fortune, bring a large one."
Goblins read it as instructions.
"I always wanted a small fortune," said Grungle Flankmire, clutching a bulging sack of gold coins outside a casino. "So I'm bringing my entire life savings to see what happens."
Goblin Gaming Group casinos have been overrun, with lines around the block and bouncers struggling to keep order.
"Absolute chaos," admitted a GGG spokesgoblin. "They're betting on mushroom roulette, pixie poker, everything. We're considering a new game, Bet Your Bottom Dollar on the Next GNN Scandal."
GAGe is reeling. "We were trying to warn goblins about addiction and financial ruin," said a representative. "Our message was lost in translation."
GAGe is drafting a new campaign. Goblins, meanwhile, keep pouring into the casinos in hopes of turning their large fortunes into small ones, and most are succeeding.
If you happen to win a small fortune, GNN accepts donations in all major currencies, shiny objects and fermented mushroom snacks.
